You probably don’t really hear of Habbo Staff, or Habbo Moderators because the majority of the work they do is backstage! Habbo Staff are adults who are paid to help manage and moderate the hotel, ensuring safety is upheld and making sure all of the Habbos are happy.
What do they do?
Habbo Staff don’t just moderate the hotel and ban your account. They do lots of other things too, like making you happy.
Habbo has multiple hotels, and each hotel has a Community Manager. This person is a Hotel Manager, they’re responsible for everything within that Hotel. Some Habbo Staff and Moderators are shared with multiple hotels, for example, one Moderator might help moderate 3 hotels during the week – whereas some Staff have direct responsibilities with one hotel, like Community Coordinators, for example.
Habbo Moderators is an old role that was originally utilised to ensure Habbo is safe, and often ban naughty Habbos which break the Habbo Way. This is however no longer an active role.
Habbo Staff is more community faced; the Community Manager and Community Coordinators fall under this category. They are responsible for managing the hotel, and making bundles for Habbos to purchase or organising events for Habbos to win badges and other fun prizes. They also attend real-life meetings with other staff from different hotels to share tips and update their superiors.

What powers do they have?
Habbo Staff would just be Habbos if they didn’t have powers and permissions to help them perform their jobs correctly.
All Habbo Staff will visibly wear their ‘Habbo Staff’ badge at all times. They also have a special Staff bubble which some staff might use; all staff have the ability to kick, ban, mute, and answer a call for help on the hotel. Due to them being employed by Sulake (the company which owns Habbo), they are given all necessary permissions to help them perform their jobs efficiently.
